Libertas Group

The Libertas Group operates in the real estate sector, focusing on mainland Portugal. Its real estate portfolio of ca. 600,000 sq.m, divided among the different companies that make up the group, is valued at approximately 250 million.

As an extension of its activities, the Group also operates in the areas of Real Estate Support Services, Renewable Energy production and Organic Farming.

History

The Libertas Group has been operating in the real estate sector for about 30 years, with the Antsnio Joaquim Gongalves family as its core shareholders. During an initial phase, group companies were mainly engaged in urbanisation projects. The group s strategy is today focused on large-scale urban projects that involve real estate promotion, construction and the renovation of buildings in outstanding locations, creating value for the group and for the local communities where it operates.

Environmental management

Libertas Group During the construction phase, Libertas Group applies the environmental management system certified to the ISO 14001 standard TÜV Rheinland Portugal. Its monitoring allows in particular to minimize environmental impacts, prevent pollution and preserve the nonrecyclable natural resources.

IN THE PROJECT PHASE THE CRITERIA APPLIED ARE:
